As many other reviews have noted, the cooler and case are great products on their own, but it's clear they were never designed to work together. With a bit of creative assembly and missing one of the body layers, I managed to assemble everything very sturdily and am very happy with it. Instead of the supplied sticky thermal pad for the CPU cooler, I used a small 1mm thick copper plate and installed it with high-quality thermal paste. I can confirm that this is 100% overkill, because at 100% load with a 2GHz overclock the Pi temperature does not rise above 40 degrees Celsius. That's an incredible achievement. I highly recommend the cooler. I do not recommend this kit due to case and cooler compatibility.
