Plugged it in and followed the PDF manual on a small CD for it to work with. Technical support will be happy to help you. The product works very well, as well as my current router with a similar sized antenna. You can find a slightly cheaper adapter but it seems that the company backs this product and is very good with support and documentation. I could buy a cheap one to play with, but for distance learning or something important, why not buy a good one like this? EDIT1: This adapter seems to only support 40 and 44 channels up to 5 GHz in my tests with hostapd and Raspberry Pi 4 (September 2020). I just asked a question here, maybe someone can confirm this. So far we haven't tested if it works when used as hotspot mode. Maybe you need "Maybe it's me, I can't get hostapd on rpi4 to use channels other than 40,44 and 161 as hotspot. HELP.
