Tips from a beginner in 3D Printing Consumables

So I won't lie, I've only been a 3D printer for about 4 months so I'm by no means a pro and if the information I'm gathering Um I'm genuinely sorry for letting you know you're a no-brainer, but it could have saved me weeks of frustration. As I said, I'm new to 3D printing. I've used the Hatchbox PLA exclusively in my Creality Ender 3 Pro with a glass bed (which I highly recommend) and for the most part have had little to no issues. Then I bought a 1kg spool of AMOLEN PLA Printer Filament, Multicolor Silk Metal Rainbow. Right from the start it felt "different" than the Hatchbox, stickier and more pliable. Download it and try to print a test thread quickly and it won't stick to the bed. Just hangs and gets stuck at the hot end. Okay don't worry I'll just clean the hot end, wipe the bed with alcohol and try again. nope The same thing. Check the height of the bed - everything is fine. Switch back to Hatchbox, type like a champ. Put it back in AMOLEN, don't go. This goes on for several weeks as we reinstall AMOLEN, try to get it to print, fret, and reinstall the hatchbox. So I use Cura 4.6.1 as a slicer all the time and don't change anything in the settings. Out of curiosity I decided to increase the hot end temp from 200ยบC to 220ยบC and lower the bet temp to 50ยบC and BAM! Now he prints like a champion with AMOLEN filament! No further settings are required. Prints are smooth and flawless. Again, I'm sure this information is nothing new to a seasoned 3D printer, but for me it went from throwing away the spool because I couldn't look at it to what I now have with this amazing multicolored filament can print. . Buy it, with a little adjustment you will love it.
