A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.
An excellent choice if you need a very wide angle and you are not ready to carry around a kilogram of glass in the form of 14-24 / 2.8. Sturdy construction, good sharpness and colors. The sun in the frame gives a nice star, but also colored highlights, which in some cases can take up a significant part of the frame. Instead of a lid, there is an elastic hood. Although many consider this a disadvantage, I like it better than the bulky plastic cover on the 14-24 / 2.8, at least it's easy to put in your pocket. Geometric distortion is corrected better than zoom, but is inferior to it in terms of sharpness at the edges of the frame.
