I bought the XXL for our 90lb Bernese Mountain Dog. It fits with space to spare. I would have chosen XL if it wasn't for her wide chest. The belt adjustment is almost fully tightened. Velcro around the chest works perfectly. Could have been a bigger dog. She wears a life jacket all day/night on the boat and is free to move around. I measured our dog before choosing size XXL and I recommend measuring your dog first before deciding on a size. Her barrel chest pushed us towards XXL, but a larger dog would easily fit this size.
