Review on 🔧 Restore Door Latch Function with Dorman 926-111 Cable Repair Kit - Ford Models OE FIX by Brent Peterson

I was abroad when my cable end broke. I ordered 4 packs to have at home when I come back. I watched some YouTube videos in my hotel room to get ready for work. When I took the door apart all I had was a broken end. the other 3 are for possible future use. I opened 4 packages and chose the right one for my needs. (There are 3 of one style and 4 of the other style in the pack. The part is made to fit the factory end of the cable once you have completely removed the old jacket/end. The factory has some tools used to roll out the last half inch I used a screwdriver and smashed in with my palm to slightly open the length of the aluminum piece and the cable still seems to be holding up well.I haven't used a crimping tool but I've seen or read where others have done it. (If anything slips or fails I'll come back and update this review) with jaws. This thumbtack has been baked in the heat for 20 years and it's about to break. Don't worry! The The other 3 fasteners and the built in door panel levers that go into the metal door frame hold everything in place nicely.
