A few months ago I bought a tool and two packs of saw blades. Me and the other crew members cut through a lot of drywall with the blade that came with the tool. No one, including me, has taken any notice of the tool or the blades and they still look brand new. Often we thread the cord through the middle of the bobby pin and cut it. Sure, we'll come across nails and screws, but we've identified most of them with the Qwik Mag II (available from AMZ), but it still doesn't take much effort to work around the fastener once you "feel" it. We make sure not to drop the tool and thus protect the blade. If the 4 blades I bought are as good as the original blades, it looks like I have a lifetime supply.
