Review on MICHELIN Latitude Alpin 2 235/65 R18 110H winter by Gabriela Gutowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

Nissan Murano, 3.5 l., rear-wheel drive. Rubber 235/65R18. After installation, we drove 1000 kilometers St. Petersburg-Helsinki-Tallinn-Peter. For several days we experienced all the weather conditions)))) We returned yesterday. Now our impressions. Wet-dry asphalt passes perfectly. Noise - sometimes it seemed that it works quieter than summer. It keeps the track confidently, without the slightest pull to the side. There are no problems in 10-15 cm snow, it rows confidently, the rear axle does not connect. swallows turns, without bumps and roll. In Estonia, already returning to St. Petersburg, we got on a 60-kilometer stretch of road with black ice. That is, the road was completely icy ! We stopped on the road on business - so I could only get around the car holding on to her so as not to fall . This is where the main disadvantages of the lamellar rubber appeared: a little bust with an effort on the brake and the ABS immediately works, with gas when overtaking (it was like that, people were careful) I had to work in millimeters - I overdid the crank a little right away. The tension was present))) And that's it Well, to the credit of rubber, she stood on the ice very confidently. Wet snow fell in 2022, a five-centimeter porridge on the road . But the car went like a glove. I checked the behavior in this porridge at speeds of 80-90-100 km / h. the slightest deviation from the course. Conclusion. Excellent rubber, although it costs a lot. But remember (!) that ice is not quite its element. So if you notice signs of icing on the road, then - maximum caution and without sudden movements.

Pros
  • All.
Cons
  • Behavior on ice. Although this is more likely not a drawback, but rather a natural minus of lamellar rubber.
