In the past I have refrained from buying Castle Art Supplies because I am not familiar with the brand. my loss! I decided to take a chance when I noticed that they now offer a set of 120 pens. Young! I'm glad I did! I got them straight out of the stylish tin can and took them with me for a "test drive". Well, you know how it is with a new car, right? You say you only drive around the block, but you love your new car so much you drive all over town for the rest of the day! Same scenario! This very nice family business contacted me to check if everything was ok with my order before it even arrived. As it turned out, there were some bumps in the road when the pencils hit me, but not because of Castle Art Supplies. And her intervention fixed everything! I was so impressed with their customer support that I immediately wanted to try their product. With so much attention to detail, their pencils must be top notch! And I wasn't wrong! Remember the car analogy? I ended up drawing with these pens all day and evening, and yes! At night! What fun it is to paint them! let me say it again! What fun it is to paint them! Here's a quick picture I colored with these pens on my first try. I tried different types of color combinations to give you a good idea of the brightness of these colors. This wonderful image is from artist and Brazilian illustrator Chris Lopez's Hidden Paradise Coloring Book for Adults. They're so smooth and creamy they really glide down the page like "melted butter"! They drive straight off the show floor like a brand new Cadillac! I swear! If I had tried them for the first time I wouldn't have invested all that money on Prismacolor, Marco Renoir and eight other different sets I have! This set has all the colors you need! And if not, then shading will definitely give you the shade you want! I'm sold! My future paint needs will be met by Castle Art Supplies! And no! This was not a paid advertisement! So clap your hands on these soft-tipped pencils as they bow!
