2 inch spacers are perfect for restoring headlight finishes. The larger (4, 5, 6 inches) the more difficult it is to inspect and sand just the headlight and not the surrounding painted areas. I spent about 40 minutes restoring each headlight using wet sanding methods and then after using Meguiar polish (ultra sand then ultra finish). I used several sanding discs from coarse (800) to fine (10000) and finished with Meguiar's Ultra Cut on one sponge and then Ultra finish on the other sponge. The headlights are gone from yellowing, fogging, fogging. to a clean, light-colored and transparent plastic with a pleasant sheen (like new). I finished them by sticking a 3M vvivid protective film on both lenses. This UV protective film is removable (not permanent) on the go. Total cost for the whole package with screen protector was $65. Time commitment: 90-100 minutes. Used my own high speed drill. Alternative route: Buy two new headlights and remove the front bumper and headlight assembly. It will probably take 3 hours. Individual work and at least $160 for both non-original headlights. More expensive non-originals cost $220 per set. Original manufacturer headlights are twice as expensive. This is the best, cheapest and fastest way to do it. Only upgrade the headlights, not replace. The yellow color/haze is only present on the outside of the headlight caused by oxidation and UV damage. Just sand/polish and they're like new! Use this set because it works and it's cheaper.
