My father wanted this for his 2017 Nissan Titan for Christmas. He drives many trailers, boats etc and is very happy with it. He is very knowledgeable about wiring/electronics and said the manual is pretty general, no details or funny typos, but he doesn't need it. Works great with its mirror and the pictures were perfect. He is very happy with that. This camera is REQUIRED. I don't think it's cheating, it's brilliant! It turns on within a second of engaging reverse gear. The picture in bright, dark or low light is excellent. Rain/snow does not affect use except that if the camera is in the ground it will of course need to be dug up for it to work properly. I will 100% buy another one of these when I eventually get my own truck and if I lived in the city I would install them in my car too (although I already have a rear and front DVR - this cam sucks so much pretty much everything on but perfect light and the screen size is too small for parking).
