After I received an incredibly nice email from the seller, I am increasing my rating number. I am assured that the camera is indeed waterproof. And that the monitor can remain on for more than 60 seconds. Unfortunately I sent the product back, it seems fine, I will just say that it does not suit my needs. After plugging in the camera/solar panel for the first charge, I see a sticker that confuses me about water resistance. The advertisement states/claims that the product is waterproof when submerged in water. Next I read the instructions. According to the instructions, the monitor switches itself off after 60 seconds. It takes me over a minute to look at the rear view, but you can press the side button to turn it back on. The seller said it could last longer.
