Review on GeeekPi Supply Shield Expansion Raspberry by Dave Russell

I bought this to connect a 5TB 3.5 HDD to my Pi so I can watch my videos independently from LAN and NAS. It works well with Windows and Raspian. Plugged directly into the USB port of the OMV NAS and I was able to easily sync any NAS data I wanted to the 5TB drive without the included power adapter. It was also instantly recognized by Windows when connected to a laptop, and again, no external power was required. I formatted the drive to NTFS just for compatibility and it worked great with Raspian and Windows. I now have a stand alone media device that uses the Pi 3 and the included power supply is a nice upgrade to the standard Pi power supply.
