Review on πͺ Efficient Drilling with the 8 Inch Cobalt Aircraft Extension Drill Bit by Adam Tidd
Haven't tried it with metal but it's great with wood.
It was great! I make and assemble cabinets. I use them in the shop and in the field. I have tape on some for pre-drilling for a specific drilling depth. The length is great for pre-drilling pocket holes to avoid splitting and many other uses.
