There is a chance of getting a bad one.
I am a used car dealer so I have to constantly replace this item on used cars. I bought 2, one for Acadia and one for Outlook. The first was in perfect condition, the second was broken and didn't hold the hood, I wanted to return it for another, but someone bought an SUV and said they would just replace it themselves. The way I see it, you have a 50/50 chance of getting a good one or a bad one.
