Save the old mounting screws

Perfect fit The screws supplied with the kit are too thick, so it is better to use the original screws than those supplied with the kit. Otherwise an excellent product.

DOES NOT FIT 07 ACADIA HOOD

The delivered item is not shown. The part received does not fit my ACADIA. On the one hand, they are different. WOULD be like the photo, it would be great. Now I have a wonderful doorknob. Not worth the hassle of sending it back. Pretty marked.

Died after 2 1/2 months

That worked well for 2 1/2 months. When I installed it, I replaced a MaxPow pose of the same model that was about two years old. I've filed a warranty claim and I hope they honor it; However, I would NOT buy this with two deaths in two years.

There is a chance of getting a bad one.

I am a used car dealer so I have to constantly replace this item on used cars. I bought 2, one for Acadia and one for Outlook. The first was in perfect condition, the second was broken and didn't hold the hood, I wanted to return it for another, but someone bought an SUV and said they would just replace it themselves. The way I see it, you have a 50/50 chance of getting a good one or a bad one.
