Review on Cuisinart BFP 650GM Velocity Blender Processor by Steven Ferguson

I've had several Cuisinart blenders and honestly I think they should last longer than they do now. At first I was disappointed that they switched from glass to plastic, but eventually plastic became easier for me to work with because it's lighter. The glass container was quite heavy. I like that the drain spout on this model has been moved so it doesn't drip at all. I LOVE the smoothie function. I just turn it on, press a button, and it will cycle through and stop automatically when it's done. From 1 minute to 90 seconds for a really good smoothie. Ultimately, I can now get the blender running for smoothies in less time than my old model, which had a food processor instead of a button. This version has fewer buttons than the older model, but with the help of the instructions I can get a general idea of which button I need. A small attachment for a food processor is also very good. My old model had it too and not much has changed. Overall I am very happy with my purchase. Let's hope this lasts a few years.
