Review on Durable Pieces: Hardened Stainless Steel for Woodwork and Plastic Materials by Gary Shakeone

Good Value for Power Tool Parts and Accessories

I see some comments about how quickly these drills wear out. Taste the oil and take the time to go slowly. I used a 3 5/64" to drill about 40 holes in 1/16" 304 stainless steel. None of these broke (I used a low speed drill and a vise). You may not have much luck using these bits in a hand drill. The use of a drill is strongly recommended. Insert the drill into the drill chuck as far as possible. The drill chuck absorbs heat from the drill.

Pros
  • Quality Material: The cobalt drill bit set uses M35 cobalt high speed steel as the material, this material is strong, durable and practical, with long service life, heat resistance and abrasion resistance; The cutting edge of the drill is hardened and honed with a precise cut without jarring
Cons
  • No Automatic
