Review on Tupperware Spin Salad Spinner Chili by Lee Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent long lasting product

This product is excellent. I've had mine for a long time and it still works great; The construction is solid with few moving parts. When there is a lot of water on the lettuce leaves, rotation is difficult, and achieving high speed under such conditions can cause the rotating basket to be thrown off the spindle. In this case, the handle lid has to be put back on the container, but that doesn't matter much. In any case, it is important to first perform a very short spin at low speed to drain most of the water. empty the container. and repeat the rotation at a higher speed. If the lettuce was very wet to start with, it may help to repeat the low speed spin and reset before spinning at high speed. After most of the water has been squeezed out, you can quickly turn the handle, which will completely dry the lettuce. A strong hand on the container is enough to keep the spinner motionless; However, I usually pull the container to the edge of the counter where it sits securely between my hand and body. and check.
