Decent kids bike. Training wheels are a joke

This bike was built by my husband. He said it wasn't the easiest, but not terrible. It's just a lot of little pieces that need to be put together. The worst thing about this bike is the training wheels. They constantly weaken as you move, forcing the rider to lean to one side or the other. My husband wanted to lube the zip bolts to keep them in place, but that made no sense to me as the training wheels were going to be removed at some point. So instead of playing around with training wheels more, we decided to teach our 5.5 year old to ride a bike without training wheels. She put it together in an hour, and now we can throw the training wheels in the trash! Win win for everyone! Since then the bike has been running great :)
