Review on 🔧 Efficiently Remove Freewheels with Park Tool FRW-1 Freewheel Remover Wrench by Ameer Kobblewood

While this tool is certainly built to last, it's nowhere near as easy or quick to use as the old/cheap one I got from Nashbar or Spectacle I think 15 years ago. I put the old one I have in a travel tool box and wanted a new one for home use so I bought this one. This is not a ratchet (not advertised as such) and is much more awkward to use. The old tool I have just slips onto a 3/8" ratchet, and you can ratchet it much quicker than trying to turn that tool. Is the tool good? Yes. It looks like it will last a long time. for the whole life? Yes. Is it the best tool for the job? Not in my opinion. 5 stars for quality and 2 stars for use. My old one which probably cost me about 10% of it and is the best tool for the job. And it's been running for 15 years and it's still working. They seem to still be making this style when I check but only in 1/2" heads which would be pretty bulky. I'm not sure why they discontinued this style.
