Review on Accurate Watch Strap Leather Tool: 1 Pattern Notcher and Precision Notching Pliers by Greg Mahoney

I bought this tool and also a nice thin leather ladies watch strap from Revain. The watch strap had to be cut where it attaches to the watch, I marked the new strap very carefully where it should be cut. When I placed this tool on the end of the watch strap and squeezed it, the skin was not cut but pushed out of the tool. I tried really hard to keep the leather strap from squeezing out but it was pretty much useless and all I got was messing up the leather watch strap a bit. I ordered this tool because its product description reads "Cutter, Precision Watch Strap Pliers, Leather Strap Tool." Sounded perfect for what I needed. I had to use a good sharp Xacto knife (did a good job) after getting frustrated with this tool. I intend to return this item for a refund.
