Review on Duracell Quantum AAA Alkaline Batteries - 20 Count, Long Lasting & Versatile All-Purpose Triple A Battery for Home and Business Use by Leslie Smith

! warning ! No energy ! Expiry date until March 2028! Avoid "Check Power Level " Batteries

I've always bought Duracell Quantum (AA or AAA) alkaline batteries for the last few years. to find out why my HGTV sound system remote control didn't work at all with these newly purchased batteries. A reliable voltmeter was used (to measure voltage, not power). The "new" batteries were 1.6V DC. The batteries did not work at all, while the "old" batteries work with the remote control, but with almost no display backlight. After using my voltmeter. 20 batteries with different power levels displayed by this built-in function. I took the two batteries with the highest charge level and tried them out in my remote control. absolutely no sign of life with the very best "new" AAAB batteries, put the "old" Duracell Quantum alkaline batteries back in (no charge control function). The remote works (although there is little to no menu backlighting) I'm fine for now as I've found several other old Duracell Quantum alkaline batteries that I carry in my laptop bag as spares that work great in the remote. The 'new' batteries have an expiration date of 'March 2028' with a 2018 copyright notice on the packaging. These batteries were stored in our bedroom for 2 months from the date of purchase from Revain (with the air conditioning still running between September and September). and November). I have kept our spare batteries at this location for the past 20 years (MOL). I will no longer waste my precious time returning these "LEMONS"!
