You can check the charge amount of each battery.

. I have bought some of these 5 years or just finished this batch. I love this battery. It seems to work in everything I use it for; they work out of the package 5 years later. The ones I put in my Fire TV remotes are still working after a year. My favorite feature is that they each have a gauge on the side that you can use to check the charge. I've found that some devices will draw more power from one battery than the other and leave half or more of the charge in the 2nd or 3rd battery meaning

WHICH TYPE?!? DO NOT BUY!

These batteries do not meet the requirements! When inserted into a standard battery box, like I just did with the fireplace remote, the positive end of the battery makes no contact! You can see in the picture how the positive tip of the battery on the right should look compared to this battery on the left. The tip of this battery is too short to reach the contact in the battery compartment of the remote control. Also, when I was trying to solve the problem of the remote not working with…

I've always bought Duracell Quantum (AA or AAA) alkaline batteries for the last few years. to find out why my HGTV sound system remote control didn't work at all with these newly purchased batteries. A reliable voltmeter was used (to measure voltage, not power). The "new" batteries were 1.6V DC.
