These batteries do not meet the requirements! When inserted into a standard battery box, like I just did with the fireplace remote, the positive end of the battery makes no contact! You can see in the picture how the positive tip of the battery on the right should look compared to this battery on the left. The tip of this battery is too short to reach the contact in the battery compartment of the remote control. Also, when I was trying to solve the problem of the remote not working with recently replaced batteries, I checked about a third of the batteries in the remote. Package AND THEY ARE ALL HALF-DEAD, even with the date 2028 on it. That's ridiculous. Did Duracell give us as customers a bad battery batch? Are these cheap fakes? Who knows, I'm not the loyal Duracell customer I was in the past. This order deserves at least one refund.
