Remember it has 8 teeth so I think it's made for bigger engines. A 75 HP 2 smoker needs a ten prong. They also have a smaller shaft otherwise I would replace the drive from my OEM starter. So when I hear about tooth decay, guess why! Fortunately the flywheel gears were not damaged. Well, who or what says they fit in all these engines if they don't cause hassle and expense for what? My purchase is being returned, so $$ for no good reason.
