So I live 50 miles from some of the stations I want to receive. I bought this as bunny ears and the reinforced external antenna didn't cut it. Outdoor installation is easy, although the size of the antenna is a bit larger than I imagined. I don't see anyone with such a large antenna next to the TV. After installing the antenna I tried it with and without an amplifier and without an amplifier I got the same result. I get a clear signal with no drops, so I'm not complaining here. I also bought a pole and it made installation easier. Will update if there are any durability issues, but I doubt there will be any issues. Thanks for the great antenna.
