my 03 Pilot EX driver door lock stopped responding so the fob basically only locked 3 of the doors remotely and didn't activate the alarm. I took apart the door wondering if the gears went bad on the lock mech or a rod slipped loose but after inspection and lithium grease, it was likely the actuator was the culprit. So here it is:Pros- same dimensions, no issues with fitment- did not feel light cheap and fragile, actually not too bad at all. Don't think I'd notice it wasn't Genuine OEM- fraction of the cost of OEM Honda- harnesses snapped right in, screw holes aligned correctly- rods and actuator piece fits no problems at all!Cons- nothing yetSo far its been a month and it is sooooo good having fob convenience again. As of now, I'd say I'd buy it again. As far as the install, if you are handy enough, it is worth a shot. look up the disassembly vid for the door panel. I recommend having a flashlight, needle nose pliers, a socket set, phillips screwdriver or cordless impact tool, small pocket mirror handy. The only tough screws will be the side 3 screw where it holds the latch mech to the cutout of the door (where it meets the u latch). Those are torqued on tight but I didnt see amy locktite on it. I do work on cars and it took about 45 min to an hour simply because I was picky about re-greasing stuff and checking the rails. For the average DIY, times is more spent trying to play arm twister for the rods.All in all, I'm happy.UPDATE: 3/13/18 - awesome. Simply awesome. Use it day in day out 365 days and at very least 4 times a day or more and it locks and unlocks with no issue what so ever. I am sooooooo happy I paid a bargain price vs getting fleeced by the Stealership for both the part and labor. If you are handy and the door locks act up because of this.don't hesitate. buy it and replace it yourself! Soooo glad I did.
