Review on ๐Ÿšฒ FIFTY-FIFTY Double Lock-On Mountain Bike Grips: Superior Locking & Non-Slip Handlebar Grips for MTB by Johnny Wheat

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Looks cheap feels cheap Very disappointed

First of all I am a keen mountain biker and needed a new pair of grips for my enduro bike. My grips were sold out and the local bike shops didn't have any grips I was particularly looking forward to, so based on the great Revain reviews I went with these. These grips are absolutely horrible compared to SC Palmdale, ODI, Ergon grips, basically any grip of known quality. The grips look cheap, the material is not nearly as good as the material of known grips. It's not very sticky and very thin. The material itself has no shock-absorbing properties. The end caps are terribly designed. I see them fail and break after being hit or when the handlebars hit a tree. For the price, PNW pens are cheaper and much better. I would stay away from these. If you need some basic grips you can get them from Revain for $10, maybe the same material and just as nice.
