I don't usually complain about MakerBot as I feel they have put together one of the best 3D printers out there. but. Not being able to buy an old 1kg roll of true white PLA I decided to try the 2lb (900g) version. It's still good PLA, no complaints, and a new roll seems better to keep the PLA from sticking together. However, keeping the price the same and losing 100 grams of plastic is a little insulting. Then my concern is that the new reels are bigger and won't fit the right side of the spool on my Replicator 2 (a lot of attention to design?). Luckily I used a top down feed system for my PLA at home and it still works great. It's just a bit frustrating that the old stuff isn't sold anymore and now I have no choice but to lose 100 grams of plastic with a reel that doesn't quite fit the old Replicator 2. Eh
