I really liked it but there are major cons

I needed GPS on my motorbike as I didn't want to rely on my phone for navigation anymore. I took this device to see if it would suit my needs. It was really close but had a huge negative so I brought it back. Here is my review. Good first. The device is well thought out and easy to use. Uses WiFi to update and send routes from a computer. Uses a great RAM mounting system that I have already used on my bike. Had a lot of power on the AUX jack. The user interface is easy to use with a glove and is very responsive. The online route planner (myrouteapp) is easy to use to plan routes and send them to your device via WiFi. The device has two disadvantages. The first is minor and can be bypassed. Updates are very slow over Wi-Fi. This first update is best scheduled overnight. I think my device took a good 4 hours to update. I also have fast internet 200 Mbps. No big problem, just give him time for it, then you're gtg. Now the massive minus that made me return the device. The sound quality is lame. It looks like you are talking to someone over CB radio or worse. The connection is also unstable and your phone will disconnect from the device. I tried the AD2P setting, got improved quality, but then your connection to the phone and headset became very unreliable. My phone was an iPhone XR and I tried two headsets: Sena 20S and Cardo Paktalk Slim. Cardo did slightly better but was still very bad most of the time. I researched this online after purchasing the device and it seems like a lot of people are having this problem and there is no solution. Will try a competing Garmin unit, hopefully I'll have better luck with that.
