Now I Can Go Where Angels Fear - From Elders

So easy to use my 8 year old grandson can operate it. I first used it to navigate on a trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan, a town known for being hit on the trail of numerous fox hunts, as there are few roads without many twists and turns, which is complicated by the fact that this also The street changes name about every mile. Garmin got me exactly where I needed to get to on a two-day trip to town and places around town, and then to Detroit, where the speed limit is about the same as a car's, without shutting the state police off the road push . . I wouldn't even try to drive a car without a Garmin! I am now an experienced driver having traveled from coast to coast seven times over many decades and either lived in or been to every major US city. It's easy to get lost these days and the roads seem poorly marked or so wide that I don't see the signs for the crossing until I've passed them. Garmin gives me directions far enough ahead of turns for me to switch between multiple lanes with a nice computer voice and printed directions at the top of the screen along with a map. I have read many, many reviews. before I decided on this relatively inexpensive and uncomplicated device because I didn't want to read all the bells and whistles like reading a book or downloading music - that's why I have a radio and a CD player. I can't imagine how they could make the device more user friendly. I've noticed that there have been complaints that the sound isn't loud enough, yes! Turn the music down, there's only room for so many sound waves in this room! If you cannot hear the Garmin output, your music volume is above 85 dBA and you are damaging your hearing! You can buy this device knowing you are getting a great deal that anyone can easily use.Doc
