Some of the larger hooks aren't well made.
I like that this had most things you need to start crocheting but I found the larger hooks are not great. On my old set even the larger hooks had good deep hooks. Not so with these. The small hooks are fine. They are comfortable in the grip. I did like the other accessories that came with this set. Overall it is a good value but you will probably need to buy some different larger gauge hooks.
