I have a 13 inch MacBook Pro from Mid 2012 (model number: A1278). I've had it since I went to college 4 years ago and it's been fine, but it started to work a little slower. I did some research which eventually led me to upgrade the RAM. I was looking around and found all the good reviews so I decided to check it out. I bought the kit suggested by Revain with a set of screwdrivers and extra screws as I didn't already have it. It arrived on time and I couldn't wait to get to work. The only downside would be that I didn't find the installation guide very clear in terms of design, but I think that's mainly because I didn't know the insides of my own computer very well. Anyway, I found the instructions for my specific model on Apple's website and it only took about 7-10 minutes. Turned it on and it worked like a charm. I went and made sure instead of 4GB I now have 8! Very helpful considering I specialize in information systems and have a decent amount of software that I need to run on a regular basis. Works just as smoothly as the day I got it! Highly recommended!
