Small Heavy Duty Quick Assembly Kit

This is a great way to build your own high speed joystick. and connects and works as expected. Not many instructions, but if you've ever installed nvme or done anything that makes you think you should take it, you'll be fine. The hardest part was getting the board out of the case so I could add nvme (fat fingers but my girlfriend doesn't have this problem and I was able to help easily). With this (device) the limitation would be like this (device) , tested with Samsung 980 nvme (gen4) which worked pretty well, it's much faster than this device could support so I used it to better determine which bottlenecks could persist. Real world usage is stable and in line with the speed of my other NVMEs and SSDs that I have connected to my computer, even with long continuous use, there are no hitches or dips when transferring large files (20GB+). Overall, this is a pretty solid no-frills case that does what you want it to do and doesn't get in the way. Definitely recommend it. There are other options available, this one doesn't make it any better or different than the others available, but this one works, and it works pretty well. I've used it quite a bit, probably transferred around 10TB in the last month, tested it and moved files between different systems. My main recommended use for this is if you have usb-c but don't have m.2 and need fast storage, that's really all and what makes it great, you can get the m.2 you want and use it today and whenever you build it together, it will be finished. This also works if you've upgraded your computer and want to find a place to put your old or smaller NVME to good use, because once you have these fast kids, they're endlessly useful. Doesn't include an additional type of heatsink, probably not enough room to mount one in this case, but the speed limitations present with this connector are fine for most use cases. All in all I would definitely recommend this one.
