Review on Dorman 77096 Driver Replacement Exterior by Sean Perry

About 4-6 months ago the original grip was replaced with one of these Dorman models. Collapsed not long ago. One of the bolts (that goes through the door) has the inside of the 'nut' torn out of the block so the handle isn't a snug fit against the outside. It still works. But my original worked too! Just wanted to replace because he was about as broken as Dorman is now. Worst of all I now have to use a dremel saw or something, I don't have to cut the bolt as it won't come out. Just knock on the door. I will try very hard not to buy these plastic parts from Dorman again. Today I had the opportunity to compare a Delco AC window motor and a Dorman window motor. Most of the resting body is plastic, while the Ac Delco is entirely metal. I bought an AC Delco One from Amazon for $29. Autozone sold a plastic sleeping bag for the same price.
