Review on πŸ”Œ USB Bluetooth 5.0 Adapter for PC: Advanced Compatibility with Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP by Julian Banks

It works, albeit with some problems.

I honestly want to hate this thing even more because of the mess I endured even when I shipped this thing; but I can't be biased in that regard. As a Bluetooth dongle, it works as intended. However, the lack of instructions makes it a bit difficult. Although the diskette contains instructions, it is limited to installation and is designed for Win 7. While this would be easy for most devices, a bit of editing is required if using a dedicated device. EXAMPLE: I have a Bluetooth headset with a microphone. It reads as such, but plays both audio channels (left, right) for both unless you disable the microphone setting (turn off the speakerphone profile). Which isn't necessarily a bad thing for me, because the mids in the headset are terrible; and I have a microphone that stands by itself. Simply put, it's not exactly new to use, but it gets the job done, and it's good if you know what to enable and disable. If shipping is included, that would be 1 star. Edit 5/15/18: You have both versions now and I have to say that the updated version is the best option for Windows 10. While the stable version works, it gives you a pseudo-Bluetooth feel. Drivers for updated versions enable the correct Bluetooth menu in Windows 10. No change to the settings is required for my headset to work properly with the built-in microphone (the microphone is still disabled as turning it on drains my battery faster and still not as high quality). It should be noted that if you go beyond your audio device, there may be some lag. Just disable it and enable it again if necessary in the audio device settings. Stable and updated variants on photos for comparison
