This dongle fits my M1 Macbook Air perfectly. That gives me enough port variety. I'm sure anyone with a new generation MacBook can agree that the variety of ports is amazing. With this dongle I can connect a wireless mouse, keyboard and external monitor to make it essentially look like a desktop. Not to mention the SD card slot for data storage. The body is made of aluminum alloy with a soft surface. Not friendly with fingernails, you will hear a loud nasty screech when you come across it and it's annoying. Thanks to this you will not have any performance problems and you will finally be able to maximize your experience. I haven't tested the 60z 4k output yet as I don't have a 4k screen to export. But HDMI at 60Hz also works well, with no lag in video or audio quality.
