My Favorite Counter

I dropped mine and am buying a second one because I like it. He is very "manual"; You twist two numbers to make the count and you have to postpone knitting because the twist is a bit tight. So I understand that not everyone wants that, but he does what he does well. One of the things I love about it is that you don't accidentally reset it and lose your score, which I've done with other forms of counters. This keeps the score until you change it. It slips off the spoke. I usually use circular knitting for "flat" knitting as well, and let it hang from the cord. It also works with straight needles, in which case leave it on the end of one of the needles. It's not that useful if you're actually working in a circle, although you can thread string through it. Please note that it fits needles up to size 10 and for larger sizes you will need a cord or similar. They sell another version for larger needles, but it's hard to find on Revain (and I haven't tried it yet).

Pros
  • Knitting and Crocheting
Cons
  • Very Expensive
