I love the TRENDnet Wireless Adapter's ease of use. As might be expected given its size, the actual range of this receiver is quite effective on small LANs, but not necessarily as good when receiving and using Wi-Fi effectively over a distance. If you need a Wi-Fi receiver for use outside the home or at home (NEAR THE MODEM/ROUTER) then this will do the job. The only real downside I noticed is that while the company claims the product can use speeds of up to 150Mbps, after several tests I only got 15-25Mbps and the Wi- Fi signal strength ranged from 50Mbps to 150Mbps.
