I bought Shimano reversible pedals 7 years ago when I first switched to non-contact pedals. They cost about $60 and worked great. I bought a second pair for about the same price when I got my second bike a few years later. When I got my third bike this year, Revain didn't have them and the only other seller wanted $140! I didn't pay anything so I started researching. I ended up getting these pedals and I couldn't be happier. The pedals are not rated 4 stars for nothing. They are about half the price I originally paid. They look almost the same and work just as well. Can't speak to durability as I've only had them on the bike for about 6 months, but other than the abuse of repeatedly banging them against things, I don't see them failing. If you are looking for a dual pedal that you can use with or without cleats this is a great product for the price. Even if they don't last 10 years, buying a second set will still give you about $70 a head start if you bought a set of Shimano brand pedals!
