DO NOT BUY THIS PEDAL

I was using this pedal on a covered bike when the metal bar immediately came loose and I injured my ankle. I can only imagine when I'm going downhill on my mountain bike. It's very dangerous. I've only used them 40 times and they're already broken.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great pedal for the price.

What a fantastic product for the price! I had to replace unwanted stock pedals on my bike with unsuspecting SPD compatible pedals - I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of these pedals, the ease of installation and the quality of the packaging.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great pedals! - Cycling

Bought these for my husband whose previous pedals were difficult to unbuckle - I just couldn't see him fall anymore! He found them easy to install and says they work great. If you use them for traffic commuting, you'll probably find, like him, that you usually get your foot in time for a quick, unexpected stop. But do your wife a favor and don't let her watch!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons

Wow. Broke after 4 months!

Right pedal broken after 4 months of use. Bought these for my Peloton. The right pedal always felt a bit unstable when I was out of the saddle. I wasn't sure what it was about. Well the other morning during my ride it completely collapsed out of the saddle. It's past the exchange/return period and I can't contact the seller so I thought I'd write a review to warn others...choose another brand. Pay a little more for a quality pedal. It's worth it.

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

*Review Edited - Do Not Buy

Below is my original review before one of the pedals came loose during my ride this morning. All I see is that they added a warning not to buy if you weigh over 195lbs (I bought in December 2020). I'm a normal 200lb person, the fact that the pedal can't support a normal sized person is just ridiculous. The pedals were very good for what I wanted. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I would have preferred to be able to tighten the pedals with a tool to ensure a snug fit. However, the…

Purchased September 2020

I replaced the stock pedals on my Schwinn IC4 with these pedals. The right pedal fell off yesterday. However, I cannot stress enough how prompt and accommodating the customer service was. They stated that they increased the thickness of the spindle to hopefully prevent something like this from happening again. If you install it properly, it's lightweight and easy to "snap into place". I've probably done over 500 rides on these pedals in the 8 months I've had them. I'm a tall guy (6'4, 220) and…

Great set for spin bike riding at a great price

Bought a new spin bike for my garage and wanted to use an old pair of MTB shoes on the bike and they were cheaper with pedals and SPD cleats than boots alone that I found on the internet. They're not as easy to attach as my racquets are to my MTB, but it's a spin bike, so I buckle in once per ride, so it's not that big of a deal. I also adjusted the tension so that's not the case. It looks like the design of the pedal and how close the clamp is flush to the outer pedal assembly is causing…

Great replacement SPD pedals at a very affordable price

I bought Shimano reversible pedals 7 years ago when I first switched to non-contact pedals. They cost about $60 and worked great. I bought a second pair for about the same price when I got my second bike a few years later. When I got my third bike this year, Revain didn't have them and the only other seller wanted $140! I didn't pay anything so I started researching. I ended up getting these pedals and I couldn't be happier. The pedals are not rated 4 stars for nothing. They are about half the…

Free upgrade?! fits pedals and cleats

I'll have to update my review later as to be honest I haven't even installed the pedals yet. So this is more of a first impression and unboxing review. The packaging is really perfect. They weren't repackaged in a custom-made foam block in an aluminum can, which seems to be popular with Revain lately. I actually ordered 4 washing machines which were recently delivered what I can only describe as a showcase, ridiculous. It wasn't, and it wasn't just thrown in a plastic bag. Supplied in a…
