I live near railroad tracks. I would say its tone matches most passing trains almost perfectly. At 110psi, it's significantly quieter than a real train, but still quite loud, just under a fire truck's horn. I haven't tested the 180psi yet, but I'm happy with it. A NOTICE. The tubes are screwed into the base, but nothing is attached except for a rubber washer. I'm concerned that prolonged road vibration and moderate use will cause them to loosen and fall out after a few months of riding. I wish there was a bit more whistling, but time will tell if that's good enough.
