Extremely loud! And the train horns are too high and some are not loud. This one is just like a train whistle and very loud! I love it! If you like a loud train whistle then this is a hearty one!

Amazing sound and decibels at this price! I was pleasantly surprised at how loud and good they sounded! Easy to install and lots of sound considering it's just a 1/4" air line. As a previous owner of real train horns I was skeptical but at 1/10th the price of real train horns this is definitely the way to go.

First the bad - there is only ONE fitting to connect the line to the horns, not the air tank so you need a 1/4 compression fitting. Good - I bought a black four horn set for $60. Install them on my 2.5 gallon air tank set at 150psi and holy cannoli they are LOUD. Don't practice out loud, of course, but it will definitely scare you if you're not expecting it. I would recommend them and buy them again.

I live near railroad tracks. I would say its tone matches most passing trains almost perfectly. At 110psi, it's significantly quieter than a real train, but still quite loud, just under a fire truck's horn. I haven't tested the 180psi yet, but I'm happy with it. A NOTICE. You can't find a better deal anywhere on the web! A quick $70 for deafeningly loud horns? i can't win I installed them on my Peterbilt so I had my air system ready. FOR BEST RESULT: Discard the supplied solenoid coil. These things tend to get stuck and stuck wide open, and you definitely don't want that. ***Video update added. I didn't want to upset my neighbors so after installing it in my truck I drove a half mile in a straight line to piss off other people I don't live near. Ignore what you see on the video, my girlfriend stood in front of my house and used the video to record me with beeps. Once again I was half a mile away and my air system was running at 120psi.
