What a great machine when set up properly. I bought a new Shimano cassette with a trainer and the TACX manual didn't make it clear that you need two washers before you unscrew the tensioner cap. If the smaller gears are loose (and wobble a bit), you'll need another washer. There are videos on YouTube that will also show you what to do. When I first mounted my road bike it was very noisy (so I found I had to install more spacers). I was able to fix it and then I had to adjust the rear derailleur so that it shifted smoothly. My road bike never shifted properly so I switched to my trike, made a few adjustments, lubed the chain and had a great ride. My toad bike needs a new cable before I put the trainer back on. I use this trainer with Zwift and have been riding it almost every day since. It connects instantly, and the built-in cadence sensor means I can use the Bluetooth heart rate monitor with my AppleTV to take advantage of all the features. In 3 weeks I noticed a huge increase in performance, strength and some changes in the body.
