The lens on it is really good and protects the camera sensor (8MP Sensor Feature .

I am using this camera with a Raspberry PI Zero W in an Elixir/Nerves security project I am working on and it has the official Raspberry Camera PI to date surpassed (v2.1) in terms of image quality and build The lens on it is really good and protects the camera sensor (a feature the official PI camera doesn't have) The night vision is fantastic and the IR LEDs aren't too bright Like As you can see, I haven't been able to get it to turn on 'Day mode' yet - as it automatically disabled IR and switched to full color instead of black and white, I hope this is possible.

Pros
  • IMX219; CMOS size: 1/4 inch; Aperture (F): 2.35; Focal length: 3.15mm; Field of view: 160 degrees (during The original V2 camera is only 62.2 degrees)
Cons
  • Only available in black
