Look no further - LMM Duramax Starter
Used this on my Silverado 2007.5 2500HD Duramax. Fairly easy replacement for the most part. Tips: Access to the top bolt was more difficult. I ended up using a couple of foot extenders to remove it. The extensions went from the stud straight to the front of the truck near the radiator. There was enough room to connect a ratchet/hammer for removal/installation. Separate the exhaust pipe from the downpipe for easy disassembly/assembly. After disconnecting and removing the starter bolts, press down on one of the muffler hangers with your foot to provide more clearance for removal/installation. Bonus: Previous: 8/2/21...this new starter is cheaper than a remanufactured unit from an auto parts store.
