In my opinion you can never have enough embroidery floss. You never know when you'll need that particular shade of blue to match your material. The package contains 100 different colors. The numbers and colors match the DMC colors quite well. I've used it for sewing quilts and French knots, holding the threads. I gave it four stars because the 6 strands are not wrapped as tightly as the DMC brand. I tried to wind the thread onto the spool and it got tangled. It took me ages to unravel it because the threads weren't together as a whole. However, I think these will suffice for normal, non-professional work.
