I prefer embroidery floss to brighten up normal clothing or to 'fix' a problem - like a small tear in a nice shirt I'm fixing. Take a small hoop and fasten it around the problem area, and then embroider the flower with leaves. No more rips and the shirt is now a beautiful one-off, not a new rag in my trash can. In my opinion you can never have enough embroidery floss. You never know when you'll need that particular shade of blue to match your material. The package contains 100 different colors. The numbers and colors match the DMC colors quite well. I've used it for sewing quilts and French knots, holding the threads. I gave it four stars because the 6 strands are not wrapped as tightly as the DMC brand. I tried to wind the thread onto the spool and it got tangled. It took me ages to unravel it…
