Looked like a great bargain - came with lots of stitches at a good price. But the hole punch has a piece of metal screwed to the blade; looks like what caused the hole didn't do a clean job. Because of this, the blade cannot be pushed all the way in, so the punch leaves the inner circle attached to the inside of the hole like a small valve. You then have to tear it apart, which usually ends up with a torn, messy edge. And then when I put the grommets/grommets back in place, the spines on each of them break. I've tried the grommets that came with the tool as well as others I bought at a craft store and whether the grommet is self closing or with a washer they all chip and break and have raw, sharp metal edges on the backs. I really wanted this to work, but I don't want to cut myself trying to do something.
